Robert was born and grew up in West Lancashire. After going to University in Liverpool where he studied Cultural and Media Studies, he worked in television, namely Mersey TV and Granada TV.  In 2000 he started a career in journalism, writing for a variety of publications across the UK, and later Australia where he lived for a year.

In 2003 Robert moved to London where he continued freelancing in journalism and later working in Communications roles.

Robert enjoys travel, music and writing and currently lives in South West London.
